LOKSTAT is part of the HISSTAT network, which includes the History Department of Ghent University, the Interface Demography of the Free University of Brussels, the Centre for Demographic Research (DEMO) of the Université Catholique de Louvain and the State Archives of Belgium. HISSTAT manages a research infrastructure of microdata and micro statistics from Belgium in the 19th and 20th centuries.
The cartographic application was developed in collaboration with the Geography Department of Ghent University.
